Fortunately, Japan is also very touristically interesting for visitors from other countries. This map covers the entire country, with the northern portion on one side and the southern on the other. As most visitors to this country travel by train, we show both rapid speed 'Shinkensen' lines (in red) and the regular lines (in black). The map also shows the entire motorway network of Japan, the main highways, and as many urban areas as we could fit in without over-crowding, along with major touristic attractions. Side on includes inset maps of Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto and side two includes insets of the southern 'outer' islands, such as Okinawa and Satsunan. The map is printed on durable waterproof paper. Although the map has a fresh cover picture, there has been no change of ISBN or price, making this top-quality map one of the most affordable on the market.
