Moskito Guard er et meget virksomt middel mot mygg, flått og andre insekter. Den inneholder ikke DEET, og er derfor trygt å bruke også for gravide og for barn over 2 år. Moskito Guard er luktfri, kleber ikke ved påføring, og er vannfast i 8 timer.

Moskito Guard® lotion er vitenskapelig bevist å gi effektiv beskyttelse mot stikkende og bitende insekter som mygg, knott, flått, klegg, hestelusflue, hjortelusflue m.fl. Moskito Guard® gir også beskyttelse mot insekter som kan være bærere av sykdommer som borreliose, malaria, flåttbåren encefalitt, zika, dengue og gulfeber.

WHO (Verdens helseorganisasjon) oppgir at virkningsmiddelet i Moskito Guard, 20% Picaridin®, utviser like god eller bedre beskyttende egenskaper mot stikkende og bitende insekter som standard DEET.

Virkestoffet i Moskito Guard er Picaridin. Picaridin fungerer på den måten at det legger seg som en hinne på huden som gjør den usynlig for insektene. De vil altså ikke engang lande på hud som er påført Moskito Guard. Picaridin er effektivt også mot knott, flått og en rekke andre stikkende og bitende insekter, som i mange områder er minst like plagsomme som myggen.

• Moskito Guard er uten lukt, hvilket er en stor fordel for barn, allergikere og andre som misliker den sterke lukten fra produkter som inneholder DEET, og som oftest i tillegg også er parfymert
• Moskito Guard er vannfast og kan trygt benyttes sammen med solkrem. Når solkrem og insektmiddel benyttes samtidig, bør man for øvrig alltid smøre seg inn med solkrem først!
• Moskito Guard er en behagelig lotion (spray) som verken kleber/klisser eller misfarger klær, solbriller m.m. sånn som tilfellet kan være med produkter som inneholder DEET
• Moskito Guard inneholder heller ikke alkohol, noe som er svært vanlig i mange insektmidler. Det gjør at det heller ikke er brannfarlig. De fleste insektmidler har advarsel mot å bruke middelet i nærheten av åpen ild (grill, bål, stearinlys, lighter o.l.)

The central part of the Triglav National Park on a light, waterproof and tear-resistant, contoured and GPS compatible map at 1:25,000 from Kartografija, with on the reverse details of local mountain shelters with photos and QR codes. The map is centered on the peak of Triglav and coverage extends north to Kranjska Gora, south to the Bohinj Lake, west to Trenta, and east to Bohinjska Bistrica in the south-eastern corner of the map.

Contours at 10m intervals with shading and graphics relief, plus plenty of spot heights provide and excellent presentation of the topography. An overprint highlights waymarked hiking trails, indicating difficult sections. 32 mountain shelters are cross-referenced to the information on the reverse, with more symbols highlighting locations of other tourist accommodation , inns, climbing sites, viewpoints, interesting natural or cultural sites, etc. Road network shows car parks and petrol stations. The map has latitude and longitude lines at 1’ intervals plus UTM crosshairs at 1km intervals.

On the reverse an overview map highlights eight access routes to the peak of Triglav. 25 shelters are presented with photos, contact details, GPS coordinates and QR codes for further information; also listed are seven more huts highlighted on the map.
